About the event
The Save the Ukrainian Voice Charitable Concert for Humanitarian Aid to Ukraine features the award-winning cultural ambassador of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Bandurist Chorus of North America (UBC) and special guests. For over 100 years, the UBC has been the guardian of the majestic 60-stringed musical instrument– the Bandura. The UBC resettled to Detroit during WWII, and for over seven decades has toured the world. The bandura is an icon of Ukraine’s national identity, voice, and the bearer of its soul. The Michigan-based UBC has musicians throughout North America. All musicians, vocalists, and crew volunteer their time and talents while upholding the highest artistic, musical, and cultural standards. The UBC continues to raise funds to support organizations that are providing transparent humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
